During the pandemic, I discovered a newfound passion for sewing handbags and tote bags as a pastime. What started as a simple hobby quickly gained traction as people expressed interest in purchasing the items I shared online. Thus, SOBY Designs was born.
The name “SOBY” is a blend of letters from the names of two beloved fur babies, Sophia and Abby, who have been cherished members of our family. Recently, Cerce has also joined our household, further enriching our lives. Both Abby and Cerce are rescue pets, highlighting our commitment to supporting animal welfare.
SOBY Designs has provided me with the opportunity to merge my love for sewing with my dedication to helping rescue animals. Our mission is twofold: to offer a diverse range of bags, including pet-themed handbags and totes, as well as pet accessories such as collars, leashes, and clothing.
Moreover, we pledge to donate 25% of the proceeds from these products to a local no-kill shelter, reinforcing our commitment to giving back to the community and supporting animal welfare causes.
